Giants GM says willing to listen to offer for running back Barkley

On Tuesday, US time, according to ESPN reporters, the Giants’ new general manager Joe Schoen (Joe Schoen) said at the NFL fitness camp that he is willing to listen to an offer for running back Saquon Barkley (Saquon Barkley).

The Giants’ current salary cap is $11 million above the projected salary cap, and Barkley is one of them. Barkley will take up $7.217 million in cap space in 2022.

Sean said: “I’m open to everything. For example, to trade one player for another, I’ll listen to everyone’s offers. If it’s a trade for multiple players…I wouldn’t say everyone on the roster has it. Could be traded. But if someone calls and offers, I’d like to hear it.”

Barkley had 2,028 yards in his rookie season, but only 2,391 yards in the next three seasons. Injuries are a big influence. He has suffered a sprained right ankle, a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his knee, and a left ankle injury.
